Sailing

I sail with Bowmoor sailing club.

I sailed and kayaked from about 12 until I was about 16, when I sold my kayak and gave up Sailing to concentrate on Rugby. I realised (after repeatedly getting my head kicked in playing rugby in New Zealand), that I was never going to be very good at rubgy, but for some reason didn't go back to sailing.

22 years later I finally did, and it's left me wondering what I've been missing. Sailing is a sport for all abilities and all ages (some of the sailors at my Club are beyond 70, or even 80), and so I think I'll be doing it for a while now. It's great fun, I love being on the water - and there's no way I can use my laptop on my Laser
